Key Responsibilities

  • Design, construct, and sustain scalable data workflows utilizing Python and Databricks.
  • Implement data ingestion, processing, and transformation steps across varied origin sources.
  • Engage with enterprise data structures, cloud platforms, and data lakes.
  • Maintain secure, performant, reliable, and scalable pipeline operations.
  • Deploy monitoring tools, alert systems, incident analysis, and efficiency tuning.
  • Support data quality practices featuring validation, cleansing, and consistency checks.
  • Contribute to data modeling initiatives to supply operational and analytics teams.
  • Draft and preserve technical documentation alongside data architecture diagrams.
  • Partner across business, analytics, and operational groups to release valuable data solutions.
  • Engage in Agile framework delivery and enhance engineering benchmarks.

Requirements and Experience

  • Extensive practical background utilizing Databricks.
  • Robust software creation proficiency in Python.
  • At least 4 years of professional background working in data manipulation or data engineering tasks.
  • Practical exposure creating ELT and ETL data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms, data lakes, and contemporary architectural frameworks.
    • Background working inside AWS or Azure cloud architectures.
  • Competency producing clean, structured, and documented code.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks.
  • Strong spoken and written communication abilities in English, with French regarded as advantageous depending on assignments.
