Role Overview

An international investor services group is hiring a Head of Invoicing to direct the regional billing operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This strategic senior position unifies decentralized teams into a cohesive unit, establishing rigorous governance, standardized control mechanisms, and scalable practices ahead of a future group ERP transition.

Key Responsibilities

The appointed leader assumes comprehensive oversight of the regional billing cycle, developing cohesive strategies, structured procedures, and standardized control frameworks. Responsibilities involve guiding, coaching, and motivating a geographically dispersed workforce while fostering operational accountability. The role collaborates closely with finance leadership, regional executives, commercial units, and external clients to resolve escalations and reinforce financial discipline. Additional focus areas include enhancing billing accuracy, minimizing turnaround times, resolving disputes, and implementing transformation initiatives such as ERP standardisation and systems optimization.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate extensive background in billing, invoicing, order-to-cash, or revenue operations, alongside a proven history of managing multinational or shared service teams. Candidates should exhibit successful involvement in system or ERP transformations, exceptional communication abilities for senior stakeholder engagement, and strong analytical capabilities with advanced proficiency in MS Office and Excel. Preferred attributes include multilingual capabilities in English and French, as well as a recognized professional accountancy or finance qualification.
