Role Overview
Pick & Eat is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Officer to assist the Development and Asset Manager with comprehensive asset management for KFC and coordinate maintenance operations throughout the various outlets.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform regular checks on infrastructure, equipment, and facilities to spot maintenance requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks, supervising external contractors to guarantee compliance with required specifications and safety guidelines, and assessing contractor performance. Additional duties involve gathering price quotations, supporting procurement activities for maintenance materials and services, tracking utility usage, suggesting energy conservation measures, and helping manage maintenance budgets. The role also requires coordinating with certified pest control providers, ensuring adherence to schedules and regulations, and keeping detailed logs of all inspections, treatments, and associated reports.
Requirements
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, along with demonstrated background in facility upkeep and a current driver’s license. Essential competencies include strong organizational skills, careful attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple projects under pressure. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving capabilities, be skilled in Microsoft Office, and have working knowledge of AutoCAD as well as GMAO or similar maintenance management platforms.
