Role Overview

FTL is seeking a reliable individual to join the team in Pointe aux Sables, Mauritius. This position involves managing cargo handling operations and providing vital support for transport and logistics tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include loading, offloading, packing, and labeling cargo. The chosen candidate will conduct pre-departure vehicle checks and ensure the security of the vehicle, keys, documents, and goods during all missions. Duties also entail maintaining strict health and safety standards, fulfilling tasks assigned by the Warehouse Coordinator or Warehouse Officer, and assisting the Lorry Driver with trucking and lashing services.

Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants must be numerate and literate, capable of working independently or collaboratively, and well-organized to follow plans and instructions. The role requires the ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines, alongside flexibility and versatility. A valid forklift licence is mandatory.
