Role Overview

Checkout.com seeks an experienced professional to join its Central Finance division and lead global AP operations. The position reports directly to the Senior Manager Accounts Payable based in the United Kingdom and involves supervising a team of up to ten personnel across multiple global entities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will direct end-to-end accounts payable workflows, manage team performance, and handle complex escalations. Operational duties include supervising invoice processing, executing payment runs, overseeing corporate card and expense activities, and maintaining supplier reconciliations. Additional responsibilities encompass enforcing financial controls, collaborating on month-end close procedures, tracking key performance indicators, and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must possess a minimum of five years of accounts payable experience alongside at least two years of leadership background within an AP or shared services setting. Candidates are required to demonstrate familiarity with international entities, multi-currency environments, and strong spreadsheet competencies. Prior experience utilizing financial platforms such as Workday Financials, ZIP, and Emburse is considered advantageous alongside robust attention to detail and fluent English communication capabilities.
